HangTen Korea first gave a sneak peek of acting idol Kim Hyunjoong’s endorsement in its Twitter account. Now the clothing brand shares its plans for the popular star in the Year of the Rabbit.
Kim Hyunjoong takes over for Hallyu star Won Bin, who until last year has been actively modeling for HangTen. The brand’s director explains the decision to pick up Hyunjoong, saying:
“Our brand image and Kim HyunJoong’s popularity with general public compliments each other so we chose him as our model…Carrying a warm sensibility and trendy charm at the same time, we think that he will help in showing a diverse fashion style…We are also looking forward that with a World Hallyu star, it will be beneficial for us by increasing the level of awareness of our brand.”
It looks like Hyunjoong’s popularity has long extended beyond Kpop. In the coming weeks, he will be shooting his Spring/Summer pictorial for HangTen, for a one-year contract. Showing off the trademark comfortable and classy casual HanTen look, Hyunjoong will also be having couple shots with a female model.
Until then, HyunJoong will continue recharging his batteries after the hard work for drama Mischievous Kiss, which he will follow up with his return as a singer with a solo album this spring.
