Bae Yongjoon’s Return in Dream High Unlikely

It was reported previously that Bae Yongjoon sustained a cervical disc injury which ensued talks that he may not be able to return filming for Dream High‘s few last episodes.

The actor who plays as headmaster at Kirin Art High School, a fictional academy for KBS2TV‘s Wednesday-Thursday drama Dream High, is currently resting at his home after being discharged in the hospital due to a herniated cervical disc. “Although Bae is getting better, he still needs to be cautious,” stated his management agency KeyEast Entertainment.
It can be remembered that he started to feel the symptoms of this disease condition while filming a scene for the drama ‘Taewangsasingi (The Four Guardian Gods of the King)’ in 2007 when he fell while he was shooting for a horseback riding scene. It was during the filming for Dream High when the pain on his neck got worse. This eventually lead him to seek for medical help. Thus, he was admitted for 17 days starting January 14.
On whether or not he will return filming for the series, his agency says nothing has been finalized yet. On a side note, he plans to move from Samseong-dong to a new house worth 6 billion Korean Won (about 5.3 mil USD) in Seongbuk-dong this spring.
