Baek Sunghyun is Praised for Performance in New Comeback Drama, ‘Monster’

Actor Baek Sunhghyun is set to make a comeback to the television screen with new mini KBS drama, ‘Monster’.
Monster, is a thriller story surrounding murders that take place at a private high school during an 8 day winter holiday break, in which 7  students and their P.E teacher remain behind protecting the school, followed by a psychiatrist who ends up with them, after being involved in a car accident. The murderer sends out predicted death letters, thus them trying to trace who it is. Actors such as Kim Youngkwang, Lee Suhyuk and many other model transitioning actors and actresses will also be a part of the cast line-up.
Baek Sunghyun will be donning the role of model student, Park Wuri, who lost his mother at a young age and because of that he, has learned to manage and control all of his emotions, due to his feeling of guilt, responsibility and expectations of the people around him. He eventually becomes the leader of the group of students as he shows off a sturdy sense of coolness and order.
His performance has received many praises and an insider from the drama has said, “”Baek Sunghyun was able to fully utilize his role as Park Wuri, and displayed his charisma through his performance. His constant maturing acting skills and sincere eyes make people full of expectations.”
The episodes are set to air on KBS at the end of this month, 30th of January. Sounds very interesting indeed, definitely not one to miss!
