SNSD spent most of their time recently in Japan, most likely in preparation for new Japanese activities. Today, a teaser album jacket photo for their new Japanese single Mr. Taxi was unveiled.
Mr. Taxi will be a brand new song after the previous Japanese versions of Genie, Gee and Run Devil Run. The music video of Run Devil Run will also be included in the limited edition of this single.
In the album jacket photo, the girls are seen clad entirely in black, not unlike their ‘Black Soshi’ days from the Run Devil Run period and they gave a different pose each in front of a black taxi.
The song is rumored to be the theme song for yet another CF but nothing is confirmed yet. The new single is rumored to be released in the middle of April.
Also, it was revealed that the girls will go on a Japan nationwide tour consisting of seven performances in four cities including Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka. The tour will start on May 18 at Yoyogi Stadium, Tokyo.
