Super Junior Tops Taiwanese Music Charts

Super Junior continues to prove their popularity throughout Asia.
For 34 consecutive weeks, the Kpop boy group has been topping the music charts in Taiwan. On the largest online music site in Taiwan, KKBOX, Super Junior’s title track Bonamana from their fourth album is ranked number 1. This is based off of sales from January 16th to the 22nd. This is the first spot they’ve held since June 6th, 2010.

The chart is used to rate the popularity of Korean and Japanese music in Taiwan; however, due to the growing popularity of Korean music, Korean artists are currently dominating the charts. Now the explosive popularity of Korean artists have a filled the charts in Taiwan.
Bonamana has been dominating the charts for sales ever since its release. There are no signs that the popularity of this song and Super Junior are going to fade away. This is their second achievement in Taiwan, since Sorry Sorry previously ranked on top for 36 weeks.
