G-Dragon Reveals His Feelings About ‘Lies’ on Night After Night

On the episode of Night After Night, G-Dragon revealed his true feelings about Big Bang‘s hit song, Lies.

On January 10th, SBS Night After Night was aired and Tak Jae Hoon asked, “There are rumors that you cried because the songs Lies was changed to Big Bang’s title song when it was originally your solo song.” Then, G-Dragon answered, “I was a bit disappointed.”

G-Dragon continued by saying, “It took me a long time to write this song and when I finally finished it, Yang Hyun Seok said that Lies was a song for Big Bang. After hearing that, I was really sad. Now I’m okay.”

Then, T.O.P. replied, “It became a hit because we sang it. It’s because of the synergy that came out when all five of us got together. It’s all in the past so there’s nothing you can do about it, right?” and G-Dragon was surprised by T.O.P.’s question.

Daesung added on and said, “It wouldn’t have been a big hit if G-Dragon sang Lies by himself,” and it made everyone in the studio laugh.
