2NE1 Set to Debut in Japan and Release Korean Album in 2011

As if YG Entertainment hasn’t give fans enough reasons to faint or suffer from heart attacks from excitement yet, it’s been announced that 2NE1 will be representing the female side of the family (YG Family, that is) with some exciting projects of their own for 2011! Though they’re still considered rookies, the girls are prepared to offer many releases during the new year for all to spaz over enjoy.
The girls are scheduled to debut in Japan in February 2011 under Avex Entertainment, who will be working with them personally as bring the fire to awaiting fans. They are then planning on promoting from February to March, then fly straight back to Korea afterwards to get ready for an album release in their home country sometime from May to June 2011.
As for the much-anticipated American debut: although a set schedule has not been created yet, that’s not to say the girls won’t be debuting in the US anytime soon! Because Will.I.Am has been busy with promotions for a new album for his own group, Black Eyed Peas, he has been unable to work much with the girls, but has still kept in close contact with YGE. In fact, the artist admitted to watching 2NE1TV and has personally promised to make some catchy tracks for the girls!
It seems that this won’t be all we’ll be expecting from 2NE1, as a representative for the girls ended the press release with the following note: “There are so many things that I have to say but, for the sake of time, I shall end it here.” Stay tuned as we uncover what else in store for these girls!
