KARA’s Popularity in Japan Continues to Rise

KARA sets a new record in Japan as they continue on with their activities as a group.

On the Oricon DVD charts, KARA set a new record by being the first foreign women to hit the top spot. They’ve been able to sell 132.000 copies of videos which include Mister, Jumping, and Lupin. The knocked off Mai Kuraki‘s record that was set back in 2000.

This record breaking feat by the girls has proven that their popularity is still rising in Japan. Regardless of what they may have been in the news for recently with their agency, fans in Japan are still supporting KARA.
