JYJ and SM Entertainment Legal Battle Has Ended

There’s been an ongoing battle with the three members that make up JYJ and SM Entertainment, but finally there is a conclusion to it all.

It’s been announced that JYJ is finally seperate from SM Entertainment. They no longer have any further affiliations with the entertainment company. After Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu filed to have their contract suspended with the company in 2008, SM Entertainment in turn brought a lawsuit against the three.
They’d first filed for the suspension of their contracts because of the length of time. They believed it was far too long and did not fairly disperse the profits from their work amongst each member of the group. Something that the court had first agreed with before SM Entertainment interjected with their own case.
On Thursday it was decided that SM Entertainment no longer had legal grounds and the case was dismissed. Thus JYJ’s contract has completely been suspended without any further complications. It appears that they will not be returning to reform what was once known as the five member group of TVXQ, but instead continuing with their activites as JYJ.
