Korean pop is getting bigger in Japan by the day, and a new group is set to join the ranks of those who have ventured to the Land of the Rising Sun.
Japanese pop superstar Namie Amuro is set to release a new album entitled Checkmate! which is reported to feature 13 collaborations and a total of 23 artists. As early as now, the aforesaid album has been gaining a lot of attention due to the announcement that it will feature both Japanese and foreign artists such as Tomohisa Yamashita, AI, Ana Tsuchiya, CHEMISTRY’s Kaname Kawabata and of course, After School.
It is said that the 33 year old singer who just concluded her nationwide tour last December has been keeping a close watch of Kpop these days, which eventually paved the way for the collaboration.
