It looks like 2011 is not just a year for big comebacks in the Kpop scene, but also a year to welcome fresh new faces in the music industry.
A Cube, Cube Entertainment‘s sub-label recently released image teasers for their newest project, a brand new girl group composed of 7 members who call themselves A Pink. These girls were spotted earlier in some of BEAST‘s music videos like Shock, Soom and most recently in a dance battle for the video Beautiful. These soon to be singers are garnering attention from a lot of people as early as now, because of their dancing prowess and noticeable good looks.
As of this moment, A Cube has not yet revealed the identity of all 7 girls. However, three of them are identified as Son Naeun, Park Chorong and Oh Hayoung. Naeun was reportedly the girl who played both as Junhyung‘s love interest and Gikwang‘s seat mate in the music video for Beautiful. While Chorong, was the girl who appeared in Shock‘s Japanese promotional video. And the third member Hayoung, who is said to be the maknae of the group was revealed through A Cube’s official twitter account today.
Rumors has it that this project group is set for debut by the end of March 2011 through a reality show. And by the looks of it, it seems like these girls are more than ready to steal the spotlight as early as now. With talented and successful artists like 4Minute, Beast and G.NA under Cube’s camp, fans will surely be keeping an eye on this one.
