Though they have already set plans to release Japanese albums and hold concerts through FNC Music Japan, the boys of CNBLUE are still currently locked in the middle of a entertainment company war as they set out to find a second deal with a major Japanese label to debut under in the mass music market later this year. As CNBLUE has shown promises of being a major success, many labels are competing to win the favor of the boys.
FNC Music Japan states that over 10 companies have already offered contracts to CNBLUE not only due to the fact that they wish to participate in the recent trend of Korean artists moving over to Japan, but also because they see CNBLUE as an especially strong band with a lot of promise. Because bands are especially strong and a stable trend in Japan, many labels are eager to work with the boys.
FNC Music will be choosing a major label for the boys sometime this year so that they may work as CNBLUE’s partner in Japan. Meanwhile, the labels will continue to battle it out for the right to work with the boys, as representatives of each label have already been sent to attend multiple CNBLUE concerts and reserve tickets for shows incredibly early due to the fact that tickets to see the boys have sold out so quickly.
