KBS2TV drama Dream High follows the long trail of Kpop idols entering Japan, as it is set to broadcast too in the Land of the Rising Sun.
Japanese entertainment officials confirm that Dream High will be broadcasted by largest satellite broadcaster DATV starting on the 27th. The drama tells the story of teenagers clamoring for their dreams of being in show business, as they train to be the best they can be in Kirin Arts High School.
The promising new drama Dream High might as well be a Kpop drama, given its Kpop-idol-studded cast, thus fitting the Hallyu wave in Japan. It features T-ara’s Eunjung, JYP, 2PM’s Taecyeon and Wooyoung, IU and miss A’s Suzy. Playing the principal of Kirin Arts is Bae Yongjoon, a very popular and loved Hallyu star in Japan.
Given all this, Dream High is expected to attract great interest in Japanese viewers on DATV at 9PM, Thursdays.
