MBLAQ’s Lee Joon Multi-tasks On The Plane
Kpop idol group MBLAQ‘s main vocal, G.O, has just posted a photo of fellow member Lee Joon through Twitter while in the plane from their Dream Of Asia concert in Taiwan alongside with other kpop groups Super Junior, BEAST, 4Minute, and 2PM.

“Superstar K2” contestant Kim Bo Kyung impressed many in the music industry with her powerful voice, guitar skills, and song composition ability. Consequently, she was quickly snapped up by Sony Music, who promised that she would “release a mini-album and start promotions next year.”
With high hopes, Kim Bo Kyung kicked off 2011 with the release of her new single, “Haru Haru (Day By Day)”. It’s a great ballad that shows off her strong vocals, and the music video spotlights her creative process in the studio.

Top idol stars came together for the recording of MBC’s Lunar New Year’s special program, “Idol Star Athletics & Swimming Championships“, held at the Jamsil Athletics Stadium on January 23rd.
Idols that participated include 2PM, 2AM, Seungri, B2ST, SHINee, IU, miss A, Rainbow, SECRET, SISTAR, MBLAQ, ZE:A, Supernova, T-ara, Davichi, After School, INFINITE, Touch, Dal Shabet, U-KISS, Kim Dong Wan, Chae Yeon, and others.
“Athena” to cancel January 25th episode due to Jung Woo Sung’s injury
Due to actor Jung Woo Sung’s injury, SBS will be canceling the episode of “Athena: Goddess of War” originally scheduled to broadcast on January 25th.
On January 23rd, Jang Woo Sung and Jung Chan Woo injured their leg and head, respectively, after a car accident on set. Both were immediately rushed to the ER, and received treatment up until their discharge the next day.
Although their condition has improved, they were unable to complete the filming for the episode scheduled for the 25th. Producers had stated, “We will try to see if we can air the episode through editing, as we are currently in discussion with representatives of SBS.“ Unfortunately, they were not able to come up with enough footage.
In place of it, a side story titled, “Soo Ae’s Secret“, will air instead.

Big Bang’s Daesung’s representatives clarify rumors about “Night After Night”
Representatives of Big Bang’s Daesung clarified the recent controversy surrounding a writer and rumors regarding Daesung’s participation in SBS’s variety program, “Night After Night.”
In a phone call with Star News on January 24th, representatives stated, “The producers of ‘Night After Night’ are very close with Daesung. The atmosphere of the film set is always bright as well.”
At the mention of the misunderstandings and rumors amongst fans, they continued, “Fans are claiming that a certain participant hit Daesung on the head, but there was nothing to feel bad about at the time of the recording. The filming took place in a warm environment.”
Regarding fans requesting for Daesung to leave the show, they stated, “We believe the fans are misunderstanding the whole situation.”
